Student Membership

This category of membership may be available to individuals enrolled in a medical laboratory science educational program. This may include, but not limited to, Medical Laboratory Technologist (General, Cytotechnology, and Clinical Genetics), Medical Laboratory Assistant/Technician, and Combined Laboratory/Xray Technologist students.

Description

A person may make application on the prescribed form to become a student member of the Society upon producing evidence establishing to the satisfaction of the Council that the person:

• is enrolled in a medical laboratory science educational program;
• is of good character;
• shall sign the Code of Conduct and Standards of Practice Adherence Agreement;
• has not completed their medical laboratory science education program.

A person who is a Student member;

• is enrolled in a medical laboratory science educational program;
• is of good character;
• shall sign the Code of Conduct and Standards of Practice Adherence Agreement;
• has not completed their medical laboratory science education program.

There shall be no annual registration fee charged to student members.
