Non Practicing Members

Non-practicing membership is available to a medical laboratory technologist, who is not currently employed as a medical laboratory technologist or who does not meet the requirements for Practice Hours or Continuing Education for a Practicing member


Members may vote at all Annual and Special Meetings and in Mail Ballots and may, subject to any limitations in the Act or these Bylaws, be appointed to any committee;

Non Practicing Members shall hall receive the publications of the Society; :

Note: Members may become non-practicing for a period of time.
Example: Maternity leave that falls in conjunction with annual renewal.
Review Professional Liability Coverage to ensure PLI is maintained when on temporary leave.
